“In For The Kill (Skrillex Remix)” – La Roux f. Skrillex – Need a song to make your friends of both sexes sing along at the top of their lungs? This remix of a La Roux classic combines the passion of Ellie Goulding with the polarizing (see January issue), grimy whomps of Skrillex.

“I’m not Your Lemonade” – Major Lazer, La Roux and Heroes & Villains f. Gucci Mane – This has to be one of my favorite tracks of the Lazerproof EP, a mashup between techno-reggae masters Major Lazer and nouveau-pop La Roux, with their song “I’m Not Your Toy” mashed to the beats of Gucci Mane’s “Lemonade.” Somewhere along the production line, even more remixing was done and the first mashup was combined with the Heroes and Villains remix of the same Gucci song. It’s as if Frankenstein was made into a song, but you’ll dig it nonetheless.

“BBC Essential Mix” – Bassnectar – More than just a single song, Califronia’s own dubstep champion Bassnectar goes global with a 28-minute audible orgy of his best tracks. And some Prince. And it’s free, right on his website. Does it get any better? (The answer is no.)

“Double Cheeseburger” – Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All – Many call them the West Coast’s Wu-Tang Clan, but did you ever hear GZA or Raekwon rapping about getting stoned and going to 7-11? The beats are fresh and the content is original, creative and relateable.
