Saturday, March 24th, the Tam girls lacrosse team faced Stevenson High, from Pebble Beach. The hawks could not come away with the victory, losing 7-8.

Freshman Shea Drake ran the ball well and had a few assists along with a few goals. Senior goalie and captain Baylin Vreeland played very well defensively.

“We were a little slow in the first half, but in the second we really picked up our game and did really well,” said junior Alaina Waluk.

Unfortunately, the late-game surge was not enough. Tam next faces Cardinal Newman on Tuesday, March 27th in Santa Rosa.
