AIM Student Wins National Award

Tam senior Keldon Duane-McGlashan won the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Award for Best Student Editor in the United States, for the 2016-2017 school year. The piece submitted was a personal statement, something he worked on in school as an assignment from AIM. According to AIM teacher Mike Goldstein, “the AIM teachers brainstormed and selected student films we thought represented our students’ best efforts and submitted them…”

Duane-McGlashan received news of his accomplishment in October. “It’s always nice to have recognition for your work…[but] I think it’s always important to keep moving forward and always be looking to the next thing.” Duane-Mcglashan is currently starting a film on dreams, which he is working on outside of school.
