Investigators arrested former Tam student Michael Wong, 18, in his San Rafael home on the evening of October 23. They seized various narcotics, a stun gun, and a handgun that was reported stolen last year in San Jose.
After the Marin County Major Crimes Task Force opened the investigation earlier this month, detectives executed a search warrant on October 23. Investigators confiscated suspected cocaine, ecstasy, Xanax, oxycodone pills, codeine syrup, marijuana packaged for sale, digital scales, packaging materials, several hundred THC vape cartridges, a handgun, a loaded magazine, a box of ammunition, and a stun gun, sheriff’s sergeant Ryan Petersen, the assistant commander of the task force, told the Marin Independent Journal. The task force estimated the street value of the drugs at $10,000.
Wong is currently being held in Marin County Jail on suspicion of five felonies and a misdemeanor.
