New+College+and+Career+Center+Counselor+Hired

Tam has filled the vacant college and career counselor position, according to an email sent by the administration to parents on October 8. New counselor Leslie Roberts will take on the role of college and career counselor on October 21.

Assistant Principal Brian Lynch said that Roberts brings with her a wealth of counseling experience, and that her experience as a Marin resident will be an asset as she begins her job at Tam. “We’re excited to have someone who’s…a member of the southern marin community,” Lynch said. “[Roberts] has a wealth of experience.”

Roberts previously worked as the Director of College Counseling at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts in San Francisco for three years. Roberts has a daughter who is a freshman at Redwood High School and has been a Marin County resident since 1998, according to an email sent to Tam parents on October 8.
