WorldWideWomens Girl’s Festival

WorldWideWomens+Girls+Festival

The WorldWideWomen Girls Festival will take place at Fort Mason Center, San Francisco on October 15. The Festival features over 100 activities for girls, including academic competitions, exhibitors, dance, music, and fashion shows, and a sports arena. Also available are workshops that focus on empowering girls and supporting their futures such as “Confidently ‘Kick Like a Girl’” and “Become The Miss CEO of Your Life!” as well as lessons in computer coding basics. 

WorldWideWomen’s focus is to build a global movement for gender equality. Their website states,“Our vision is to build a powerful for-profit business that will fund our philanthropic efforts to support women and girls, and our advocacy goals to drive legislative changes that improve the civil and human rights of women around the world.”

The Festival, starts at 9am and ends at 5pm. Tickets are 10 dollars, and entrance is free for kids under 12 years old.
