After seven years as a Campus Supervisor at Tam, Wil Owens has decided to retire. He will be leaving after the 2012 graduation, for personal reasons, to spend his retirement in Italy, with his wife.
“Even though I will still be around, I’ll always miss the students,” said Owens, who has devoted the last 25 years of his life to helping kids, with a goal of teaching respect for peers.
“There will be a feeling of emptiness without Wil’s authoritative voice governing our campus during break. It is a shame to lose him,” said sophomore Ryan O’Boyle. Tam will have difficulty coping without him. So far, a suitable replacement has not been found.
“In a nutshell, I’ll be really bummed to see him go,” said vice principal Kim Stiffler.
