The Tam District Nutrition Services will be selling ala carte snacks for the first time since the 2019-2020 school year according to a Tamalpais Union High School District (TUHSD) notification released March 7. The 2023 Ala Carte menu includes snacks and beverages available at the Student Center. Tam students can now purchase Sunchips, Cheese-Its, chocolate chip cookies, Welch’s Fruit Snacks, sunflower seeds for $1, fruit yogurt granola parfait for $4, fresh fruit for 75 cents,  juice boxes for 50 cents, $2 for all other beverages, and $6 for a “2nd lunch.” The $1 chocolate chip cookie, in particular, is remembered fondly by Tam seniors from their freshman year experience. “Oh my God, the chocolate chip cookies are back,” senior Cayden Alley said when he first received the TUHSD message.
