Frenchies arrive at Tam

By Sara Blackburn

Twenty five students from Orthez, France arrived in Mill Valley on October 19. This is the 18th annual exchange program with Tam’s sister school in France. French language students are matched with an Orthez student (affectionately known as a “Frenchie”) who live with them for two weeks and become immersed in the English language and American culture. “It’s a life changing experience to meet somebody and in return [get to experience France],” French teacher Brian Zailian said.

In the spring, Tam students will travel to France where they will spend two weeks living with their host families.
