For some it’s a hot latte, for others it's a cool glass of lemonade, but there is only one drink that is enough of a delicacy to satisfy the refined palettes of Tamalpais High School students: the Yerba Mate.

The initial taste isn’t bad at all— I definitely got that tropical feeling— but after a blissful moment of pineapple and hibiscus with notes of apricot, I found myself wishing more than anything in the world that I could get rid of that sickening peach aftertaste.

You taught me what it means to be constantly jittery and alert. And while I may never be able to differentiate the butterflies in my stomach between love of Yerba or extreme caffeine-induced anxiety. It is inconsequential of my feelings for you.
