A benefit concert for Tam alumnus Steven Rodriguez (class of 2011) will take place at the Sweetwater Music Hall in downtown Mill Valley on November 26 at 7 p.m.

The concert is organized by friends of Rodriguez and seniors Devon Lawrence and Rachael Ferm. Rodriguez was diagnosed with a rare type of brain cancer called AT/RT and passed away on October 17.

Performances by locals, Tam students and alumni will include musicians, comedians and slam poets. “When Devon and I were sophomores we used to go to lunch with him and watch him perform in CTE,” Ferm said. “He is absolutely hilarious.”

The concert will raise money to fund research for AT/RT. Tickets are $15 for kids and $25 for adults.
