“I struggled being sick early in the season, but I’m very happy with the way the end of the season went. I’m looking forward to NCS as an opportunity to race against some very talented girls and hopefully run a fast time.”
Kate Miekley
“Overall, I’m really happy with how my season has gone.I’ve been able to improve my times in multiple events throughout the season and am hoping to continue that into NCS where there is going to be a lot more competition. My team and I have trained very hard this entire season it’s definitely paying off, which is really rewarding to see.”
Ryan Sacks
“I’m really happy for the team that our season ended so well. Coming in first at MCAL’s and second at Redwood Empire was a great way to end our senior seasons. Personally I’m glad I could end my high school career with some wins. I’m looking forward to possibly competing in college and continue track in the future.”
Kenny Quaranta
“The season for me being a senior was perfect. Both in a literal sense that we went 9-0 and won MCAL, but also I was running the best I have personally all of my track career and am blessed that I am able to move onto the Meet of Champions at Berkeley. My strategy moving forward is to run my race as best I can strive for a PR and see how it all turns out.
Izzy Wright
“This season has not been the best regarding my track performance. However, despite my disappointment with my high jumping I really enjoyed this season. I had an amazing time with all my teammates and the coaches. Everyone on the team is so supportive, even when I am not doing my best. Going into MOC ( Meet OF Champions), I am extremely nostalgic as it is my last track meet at Tam. I’m going to miss this team and the coaches so much and am incredibly thankful.”
Jordan Smith
“This year was really fun. I had a lot of success which, made the season a lot better. The coaches did a really good job making sure I could compete at the highest level.”
