Coming to high school can be an exciting and intimidating transition filled with new classes, teachers and peers. We’ve all been through it, and who better to ask for advice than our wise and knowledgeable seniors who will soon have completed all of high school? In this month’s Hawk Talk seniors share their wisdom with the rest of the school.
Jackson Strike: “If you’re gay, you shouldn’t worry about it too much. Your sexuality isn’t nearly as big of a deal as it might seem to you.”Lindsey Sloan: “Try as hard as you can freshman and sophomore year because it only gets harder from there. You think it’s not a big deal because people tell you it isn’t that important but it is.”Jonny Wachtel: “Stay on track with the classes you want to take and make sure that you set up your schedule to what you want to do. Remember to not stress yourself.”
